This is a completely new firmware for Adaptec Raid cards that is a more stable and robust version than those previous. It will improve the length of time required to build an array and there have been performance enhancements also.
Installation Instruction:
Once the files are extracted please copy each *.ufi file individually to separate floppy disks. If this is not done, you may encounter read errors from one of the files when flashing the adapter. Use the flash utility program named AFU.EXE included in this download
